Welcome

Nationwide 4x4 Ltd. is a leading training organisation of 4x4 off-road driving.

In recognition of the need for staff in various organisations, particularly the emergency services and the utilities to undertake 4x4 training, a special course has been developed with Lantra National Training Organisations Ltd. (formerly ATB Landbase). This new Lantra Professional 4x4 Driving Course will introduce the student to knowledge, skill and techniques in all types of 4x4 driving and theory.

The course is held over a two day period and is conducted on one of our three Lantra registered off-road sites.

Skills will include all types of 4x4 Systems, gearboxes, differentials, different drive mechanism's, as well as the all important Health & Safety At Work disciplines.

Every course and every attendee is registered with the Lantra Organisation. Those students who successfully complete the course will receive the Lantra Nationally registered certificate.

Every Nationwide Instructor is registered and qualified by the Lantra Organisation. They will work closely with each student and develop your skills, techniques and knowledge and will make every effort to make your course an enjoyable one.

About the course

Pre-course Preparation:

Students will find it beneficial to have read the handbook for their 4x4 vehicle to understand the basic operations of the vehicle.

The Course Programme:

This professional course has a mixture of theory and practical sessions to develop your skills. The final day includes an assessment and those successful will be awarded the Lantra Professional 4x4 Driving Certificate.

VENUE:

The practical training is carried out on one of three Lantra certified sites situated throughout the UK.

ACCOMMODATION:

Is arranged in venues local to the chosen site and to suit the size of the group.
